Energy.

Renewable energies are helping to meet growing energy demand worldwide and, in the long term, gradually replace conventional fossil-fuel power plants. We are setting contemporary standards in these areas. For example, by building hydroelectric power plants, we are creating the infrastructure for sustainable energy generation for entire cities and regions while taking internationally applicable environmental requirements into account .

Hydropower plants

Hydropower is currently the most important source of renewable energy. At the beginning of the 21st century, approximately 16.5% of global energy demand was met by hydropower. With our “Maziba ” hydropower plant project in uganda, we are part of this success story. Feasibility studies, environmental impact studies, environmental management, and relevant audits are essential components of our engineering services.

Photovoltaics

Solar energy is a renewable, clean energy source. Unlike fossil fuels such as gas or coal, solar energy is virtually unlimited in supply because it is a nearly inexhaustible resource. We want to use this energy in a concentrated way in developing countries. One of our flagship projects is the sustainable electrification of 300 villages in Malawi using photovoltaic systems.

Wind energy

The use of wind energy is an essential component of a sustainable energy industry, as it harnesses an energy source without consuming it. Offshore and onshore systems are industrially proven and reliably produce clean electricity. We work with our customers to develop needs-based solutions that can also be used in combination with other renewable energy technologies.

Bio Mass

Biomass enjoys solid public acceptance as a CO2-neutral, renewable energy source. A balanced agricultural production of sustainably grown raw materials allows for effective and environmentally friendly energy production using biomass power plants. Together with our partners, we advise our customers and create the conditions for the implementation and operation of such power plants. This also includes the education and training of technical personnel..

Energy Storage

Pumped storage power plants are the most effective and largest energy storage systems currently available. Developments in battery storage technology are also advancing continuously. Battery storage systems with capacities of up to 5 MWh are already in successful use today. Combining photovoltaic systems and battery storage systems, for example, with water treatment plants, can ensure a self-sufficient, safe, and clean water supply in rural areas in the future. We offer customized energy storage combinations tailored to local requirements.

Transmission networks and energy distribution

Overhead lines or cable systems are primarily used to deliver the generated energy to consumers. Renewable energies, in particular, with the increasing possibility of decentralized energy supply, require intelligently designed grid structures. With our trusted partners, we implement such interconnected systems according to requirements.
